Holy Saturday (Sabbato Sancto) is the day after Good Friday. It is the day before Easter and the last day of the Holy week, in which christians prepare for Easter.
On this day one commemorates the time that the dead body of Jesus Christ is in the grave. His soul however, was in paradise: "Today shalt thou be with me in paradise" (Luke 23:43b, KJV).
The apostle Peter describes in 1 Peter 3:19-20a that Jesus Christ revealed Himself to the spirits in the hell to show His triumph: "By which (referring to His death) also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison.

Happy Easter Season everyone!! If you haven't noticed it yet, check the front page again, we added a Stations of the Cross Slideshow!! We hope everyone likes it!! Remember, there is no school tomorrow, which starts our Spring Break. School will resume March 31st. Check back the next few days through Easter Sunday for some special Easter Posts. If you are going to be around a computer, check the web site from time to time, we might be updating certain areas over the break.
