The last day of school for grades 1-7 is June 8th with a 11:00am dismissal. The last day of school for Kindergarten is June7th with the Kinder Program starting at 12:30pm.

The 8th Grade graduation is set for June 6th at 6:30pm.

Track and field days are coming up fast! Both days will be held in Lee Park. For grades 1-4, it is June 3rd and the students will be leaving for the part at 11:00 am. For grades 5-7, it is June 7th and the students will be leaving for the park at 11:00am

We are having a used book sale, Thursday, May 19th 8:30am-6:00pm and Friday, May 20th 8:30am-1:00pm. There will be many different types of books available for Adults to Children. Hardcover books will cost $2 and all other books will be $1 with all proceeds benefiting Sacred Heart Catholic School!

We will be having a Donald’s Uniform sale on June 2nd, from 2pm-5:30pm in the Gym. This is the only opportunity parents will have to try on Donald's Uniforms at the school. If you want to see the price list, click the here.

Your child may invite a special guest on May 18th to join us at 9:30 a.m in the church for May Crowning. Students may choose to bring a flower to crown Mary during our procession. Special guests will attend our prayer service, visit our science fair in the lunchroom, share a special treat, and visit the classrooms.

The week of June 27-30th our incoming kinders have the opportunity to spend time this summer with Mrs. Milliren to meet classmates and participate in activities. Click here to see the registration form.

We have two sessions:   9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
Your child will be involved with the kindergarten teacher with activities and parents will visit with Ms. Bursey.   To end the session, we will travel around the school on scavenger hunt!

Spring conferences for grades 4-8 will be student-led conferences. Grades K-3 will be Teacher led. Appointments will be scheduled from 2:30-7:30 p.m. Forms will be sent home end of February.

Our next “Food for Thought” will be right here in Robbinsdale at The Lodge on Monday, March 21st. We will be in the banquet room with a limited menu due to the number of customers.  The Lodge has asked us to make reservations on the hour beginning at 5PM and ending at 7PM.  Please call Jessica at (612) 819-9693 by Monday, March 7th to make your reservation.

Happy Valentine's Day! We will have a red/pink/white day on Monday.

The tuition contract and registration information for 2011-2012 was sent home on  January 27th.  Information is now posted on our school web site.   Our current families have until February 11th to hold their spot.  After this date, we will notify our new families that turned in a contract at Open House, that they have a spot.   Please don’t delay and turn in your tuition contract.  We will begin with one kindergarten class of 26 and then take names for a waiting list.

The staff, School Advisory Committee, and Home & School is almost ready for the team to visit our school.  We will have 9 principals and teachers from other Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese visit us for three days to validate our report.  They will do this by reading our reporting, checking documentation, reviewing curriculum, observing teachers, interviewing all staff including representatives from SAC and H & S.  They will also randomly interview parents that are in the building at the time or call you at home.  The team likes to touch base with parents to validate our report and strategic plan.  We look forward to our visit in helping Sacred Heart Catholic School continue our strengths and make improvements for the future.   You may view our entire report on the school web site under the accreditation tab.

February "Food for Thought" Perkins, Crystal
Perkins is actually going to donate 10% of the sales for the entire month!!! The only catch is you MUST bring in the flier for our school to receive credit.   They will honor "kids eat free" (with a paying adult) on Tuesday and Saturday nights, but they will not except any coupons with this great deal. So, stop by Perkins for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner....anytime and any day during the month of February.   Please help out Sacred Heart Catholic School by passing the word on to your co-workers, friends, and neighbors.

Advanced ticket purchases for Family Fun Night will be sent home on Wednesday, (tomorrow) with the youngest child.

On Thursday, Grades 5 - 8 will be going to Feed My Starving Children. We are in need of parent volunteers to help out with this in the morning. Please call the school office if you are available at 763-537-1329, or sign onto DIBS to sign up.

This week of valentines and love for others seems a suitable time to raise money to find a cure for the unlovely disease, Leukemia. Start collecting your coins for this service project. Watch for more information. You can also get more information here - http://www.penniesforpatients.org/

ART CLASS POSTERS (5th, 7th, 8th Grades)
The 5th, 7th and 8th grade art classes created an unique drawing on a 6x6 grid.  Each child then colored his/her picture with oil pastels or colored pencils. Each student's picture was then turned into a 20x30 class collage. Your child’s class poster may be purchased for $15.00.
