Remember how the 5th graders received $100 from the Catholic Spirit contest? Well, we wish to thank all of you for helping support our Pay It Forward cause by bringing in change for Uganda families and purchasing bandabead necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. With your effort and sacrifices, we raised $1667.00. Wow!
We are so excited to present this money to Melanie Fagerstrom, a friend of the Ghani family, who will be traveling to Uganda, Africa in May to adopt two children and who will present the money to a missionary who will use the money to buy food and shelter for the children. God bless the Sacred Heart Family for making a difference in the lives of children in Uganda. Thank you so much! SHS 5th Graders

We would like to thank John Malinowski of etchedMugs who donated 24 beautifully etched mugs with our school logo on them! Here is a photo what they look like:

Since we only have 24 of these mugs, we are not sure what we are going to do with them, we are thinking of putting them for sale to raise money, but not sure. If you have any ideas, please leave a comment!! If you need any work like John does, please click on his web page above and check it out!!!

You could help our school possibly win 100,000 BoxTops ($10,000)!!! Family Dance/Dinner/Silent Auction
We would like to thank everyone who participated in our 6th annual Family Dance/Silent Auction. The children had fun dancing, visiting with friends, and purchasing tickets for the baskets. We would like to thank the development committee for planning this event, staff members for organizing the baskets and stopping by the dance to visit with families. Thank you to all parents who donated items or money for the class baskets.

Thank you for ordering Butterbraids for our gr. 5-8 Junior Achievement Biz Town trip. The pick up date is March 17th from 2:00-6:00 p.m. in the Marian Rooms. They need to be picked up on this date since they come frozen and we do not have freezer space to keep them frozen. If you would like to volunteer to sort and help with pick, please contact Pat Greshwalk or Laurie Ernste.

The GoodSearch Blitz starts TODAY! March 1st!! Let's all do our best to get as many searches in the month of March as we can so we can raise a good amount of money for Sacred Heart!! Remember, pass this note on to EVERYONE you know so we can have a large number of people searching!! Good luck to everyone!
Don't forget the OTHER way you can help our school, with GoodShop!! Visit the GoodShop site by clicking the logo above! There are a TON of different stores to buy from including the Apple Store, Best Buy, Amazon, iTunes, Target, Wal-Mart, Toys R Us, Old Navy, Sears and LOTS more. GoodSearch is a great way to help earn FREE money for our school! All you need to do is use www.goodsearch.com as your search engine on the Internet. We have already received two checks from GoodSearch since becoming a GoodSearch Charity! We want to thank everyone who has helped us over the last two years, but now we have a challenge for you. During the month of March, we want to get as MANY GoodSearch searches as we can. Our highest month was January 2007, where we had 1,743 searches which actually gave us $23.36 as each search was worth 1.3¢. We want to break this record and break it big! Tell your family, add it to your email signature, get your workplace involved, leave messages on Internet forums, if you blog, BLOG about GoodSearch!! Ask them to help us Blitz March and make it the highest month we have ever had!! I believe that we can surpass the 2,000 search mark! Lets set a goal of 2,500 searches and see if we can beat it!!!

Sacred Heart School received a check in the amount of $187.75 for using GoodSearch. Imagine if every time you logged on, you earned money for
charity. With each search you launch on goodsearch.com, about 1 cent goes to Sacred Heart School. You simply select Sacred Heart School, Robbinsdale,
from a database of thousands, then tell all your friends, tell your friends to tell their friends and so on. If 1,000 people with the same charity
search twice a day for a year, the charity earns $7,300. Thank you for using GoodSearch.
Sacred Heart School received a check in the amount of $1003.26 for participating in the Box Tops for Education program. The
school receives $.10 for every Box Top collected. Thank you to the refunders for volunteering to help make this program successful!
Don't forget other ways to help: Kemp's Nickels For Schools, Tyson's Project A+, Land o Lakes's Save 5 for Schools, Campbell's Label's For Education, and Funding Factory (old cell phones, ink jet cartridges, and laser printer cartridges). You can drop all of these off at the School Office or Parish Office.
