In the latest Sacred Heart News, we sent home an article for Middle School parents about the Choking Game. If you misplaced that or did not read the SHCS News online, you can read the article here online at the paper:

The last day of school for grades 1-7 is June 8th with a 11:00am dismissal. The last day of school for Kindergarten is June7th with the Kinder Program starting at 12:30pm.

The 8th Grade graduation is set for June 6th at 6:30pm.

Track and field days are coming up fast! Both days will be held in Lee Park. For grades 1-4, it is June 3rd and the students will be leaving for the part at 11:00 am. For grades 5-7, it is June 7th and the students will be leaving for the park at 11:00am

Join us on Sunday, June 12th following the 10:00 am Mass for coffee and donuts. Please let us know if you can help volunteer. Click the link to download the Flyer!

Many of your children have been fortunate to have Mrs. Harty as their teacher. She is a big believer in Catholic Education, which is a big reason why Mrs. Harty has taught at Sacred Heart for 23 years. Julie has decided to retire this year to spend more time with her husband, Mike, and her six grandchildren, with her newest grand child in Arizona. Sacred Heart Catholic School will definitely miss Mrs. Harty’s dedication to her students, her infectious laugh and her love of Science! If your child had Mrs. Harty or even if you did, we encourage you to leave a comment in the comment section below for her!!

We are having a used book sale, Thursday, May 19th 8:30am-6:00pm and Friday, May 20th 8:30am-1:00pm. There will be many different types of books available for Adults to Children. Hardcover books will cost $2 and all other books will be $1 with all proceeds benefiting Sacred Heart Catholic School!

We will be having a Donald’s Uniform sale on June 2nd, from 2pm-5:30pm in the Gym. This is the only opportunity parents will have to try on Donald's Uniforms at the school. If you want to see the price list, click the here.

Your child may invite a special guest on May 18th to join us at 9:30 a.m in the church for May Crowning. Students may choose to bring a flower to crown Mary during our procession. Special guests will attend our prayer service, visit our science fair in the lunchroom, share a special treat, and visit the classrooms.

Are you looking for school-age summer childcare that is safe, fun, friendly and affordable? We have the answer for you. At Kids Club you can make friends, play games, increase confidence, play outdoors, make crafts, and HAVE FUN!
•Ages 5 – 12 years
•Monday through Friday; June 13th – August 26 7am – 6pm
•Full-time rate of $160/week covers breakfast, snack, and beverage. A bag lunch is needed each day! (Milk is provided.)
ªPart Time options are also available!

The week of June 27-30th our incoming kinders have the opportunity to spend time this summer with Mrs. Milliren to meet classmates and participate in activities. Click here to see the registration form.

We have two sessions:   9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
Your child will be involved with the kindergarten teacher with activities and parents will visit with Ms. Bursey.   To end the session, we will travel around the school on scavenger hunt!

Spring conferences for grades 4-8 will be student-led conferences. Grades K-3 will be Teacher led. Appointments will be scheduled from 2:30-7:30 p.m. Forms will be sent home end of February.
