We are having a GREAT first week in first grade!  We are enjoying our days and getting to know one another.

We have created our class rules together:  We are respectful and We are safe.

We have been enjoying some great books together as well.

Homework has been coming home in the blue DOG folder.  The blue DOG folder should come back to school each day. Please make sure that you are checking over your child's work before they return it to school.   Spelling words will be coming home each Friday and we will have our first spelling test next Friday, 9/16.  Make sure that you are helping your child study their words so they can become GREAT spellers!  Math homework has been coming home since Wednesday and will continue to come home nightly.
